According to Grandview Research, knives have grown in popularity, especially during and now after COVID.

The research site finds record that working individuals that lived in metro or urban areas who used to enjoying eating out, had to change and rely on homemade food. A growing number of people turned to social media to find new recipes and share photos and videos of the dishes they had prepared. With presentation being a major element of such pictures, consumers switched from regular cookware and kitchen utensils to more advanced tools that were not only functionally better but were also aesthetically appealing.
